Add Simple, Powerful Images

In addition to photographs of people, places, and/or products, businesses can also use images like graphs or charts to convey a complex idea in a simple way. The key word here is “simple.” Graphs that contain dozens of multi-colored lines and that are impossible to read on a mobile device won’t do your site page any good. So be careful when integrating graphics on to your pages.
Change the Color Pallete
Some colors simply go well together; often, complementary colors produce a strong contrast and help a business page “pop.” The bad news here is that a poor choice of color scheme could make your site look amateurish. Like a bad domain name, an odd color scheme can subvert visitor expectations and drive them away.
Limit Text Blocks
Have you ever encountered a web page that was little more than a wall of text? If so, then you know that pages like those aren’t very welcoming. They’re difficult to look at for an extended period of time –– let alone read. Obviously, some web pages, like pillar pages, are text heavy. To prevent visitors from being intimidated or bored by these sorts of pages, professionals can break up monotonous text with pictures, images, graphs, colorful sub-headers, or even quotes from the copy. You may also want to consider adding a clickable “header” at the top of a large web page that allows visitors to skip to different areas in the text.
Websites that move around too much –– that shift or that contain a myriad of gifs or other images –– can be just as off-putting to visitors as boring, colorless sites. As such, it’s a wise idea for business owners to avoid gimmicks when designing their site. Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean that you should.
